Bikes....and homemade bike ramps!

Tonight Ty begged me to make him a ramp to jump his bike off.  We have done this before, but not with his new "big" bike and a "big" ramp.  So we proceeded to make a ramp and eventually all the neighbor kids showed up to join in the fun.  I said to myself tonight....I am so lucky to live in a place where we can ride bikes, build ramps, have neighbors that come over and just to have this space for the kids to play!

A-B-C Weekend #2!!!!

So we had a fabulous weekend once again at our A-B-C (arts-beaches-crafts) Weekend.  In true Mothers Day fashion we had 3 mother/daughter pairs there and it was a great way to spend the weekend together!

We had the "Sassy Seven" join us for this weekend and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!

The first night everyone got right to work on their aprons and everyone finished in super fast time....well maybe Summer had some problems.  But I helped her finish up the next day!  We had an excellent dinner of chicken enchiladas and homemade salsa with chips.

Next up we made Red Neck Wine Glasses.  They were all very cute and unique!  Some did vinyl, some did cloth on the lids and even a few did etching on them!

After a quick break to the outlet malls everyone was back at it making some very unique pillows.  Its so amazing how different each and everyone one of them was and how beautiful they all were!

Following the pillows we made some magnet board hangings and then some very cute potholders.

And then one of the more fun things we did that was not really all that planned was to go to a palm reader

This was actually very interesting.  I wasn't buying into it but I just had to try it...and surprisingly she knew many things that were right on and true about my life...scary!

All the gals were amazing this weekend and we laughed and had so much fun!  We ate way too much great food, some broke out of their crafting shell, some taught me some lessons, we all learned some crazy things our palms said about us....but most important....we had FUN!

A Little Catch Up!

It has been a month since I have been on here.  I haven't even been on Pinterest in 3 weeks, so you know life is just too busy.  So in no particular order....here are some pictures to catch you up and then...it is off to the beach for A-B-C Weekend #2!!!!  Its going to be spectacular.  The weather is suppose to be 70 and sunny all weekend...I don't know if we will want to stay in and craft!

Family Pictures

About a month ago we were in Boise and had some family pictures done.  I am so bad about having formal pictures done.  I am always snapping pictures and think that they will serve well enough for documentation of all our memories.  But having professional pictures done is so much nicer and having those awesome photos for a lifetime is something I will cherish.  I am lucky enough to have a some photographers in the family and they are so accomodating.  If you live in the Boise/Meridian area you should check them out http://www.hillphoto.net/# they do it all!!!  Plus supporting a locally owned business is always a plus! 

A Bit of Catching Up To Do!!!

I really want to be an avid blogger....but man there are just so many other things to do.  It has been 3 weeks since my last post and there hasn't been a dull moment!  I have been to the beach with a wonderful group of gals...just to relax and do nothing.  The kids have been on a trip to Seattle with Marilyn and her sister and were completely spoiled rotten!  Tommy has been to 2 races in Las Vegas, and even brought home a Wally!  Lauren and Ty have both started soccer and we are enjoying spring break this week, even if it has rained the WHOLE time.  In case you didn't know...I dislike the rain to the maximum power possible.  So enjoy the pics....

Where: Lincoln City - Olivia Beach Community
Who: We have spots for 10 gals  6 gals!...so bring a friend
What: You will be completely spoiled for 2 days and nights
Cost: $250 for everything!!

Your weekend will include everything you need.  We provide every meal and all the supplies for all the projects!  All you need to do is decide what comfy clothes to bring!

There is even a trip to the outlet malls or casino in the agenda!
