Lots of Blog Updates and Catching up for the Last Half of 2011

So my blogging life is not so great....I am not great at it at all. But.... I am going to this fabulous Craft Weekend in Kansas in 3 weeks and the host is a super fabulous blog mama that has it all together. I don't know how she does it. You have to check out her blog! There is a link on the side of my blog under WHATEVER.

So on my quest to figure out this blogging stuff I have spent 2 hours updating my computer and a few times thought about throwing it away. Finally I have got pictures to upload again, but dear God I can not get them to look fancy or put them in some sort of neat order. OVER IT! I decided that if I could at least get pics on my blog...i am good. And then there is the "journaling" part. I am very matter of fact and most often should not add anything because you can tell from the pics what is going on. I have no poetic or journalistic tendencies. And thank god for spell check...too bad it wont tell me when i miss a word or use the wrong one.

So here is to 3 good weeks of updating my blog cause all of the gals going to Craft Weekend have awesome blogs and I am still struggling. But we will see how it goes and see if I cant just bore you to death! Oh and its back to working a full week of work! Hasn't happened in about 2 months and I just don't think its right! So my blog might be lacking from having to actually work a full week...maybe I will sneak it in at work...if the little IT guys don't blog this site!!!!

Polar Express!!!!

This is how we started out the day at the Polar Express!!!! Super Happy!!! I was wondering if maybe they would be serving Irish Creme in my Hot Cocoa.....Holy Smokes!

But we re-grouped and off we went. It was the perfect day for a train ride. It was clear and sunny out so we really go to enjoy the fabulous scenery!

The kids really did have a great time and the experience was great! It was just the right length of ride for them not to get bored and the staff played and danced with the kids and made it so much fun!

The only time Ty got really tense was when one of the elves came around and told the kids to have 2 things in mind to tell Santa that they really wanted. Lauren did great, first year she has ever even looked at Santa let along sit on his lap.... Ty was stressed out because ALL HE WANTED FOR CHRISTMAS WAS A SLOT CAR TRACK AND NOTHING ELSE....perfect. ha.

So you might be able to tell that I am trying to update our family life since about summer...so some of these may be a tad out of order. This was a great day we spent with our neighbors carving pumpkins and making seeds!

Our neighbors Kim, Scott, Zach, Marilyn, Kharissa, Colby and Jacob joined us for the fun filled day.

Thanksgiving 2011 in Boise

Picture of all the grandkids at Tyler and Ashleys...I wish i had a time lapsed picture of this...it was great! Kids crawling over each other and possibly some crying.

And a picture with Grandma Bonnie and all the Great Grand Kids. We should always do this picture at the beginning of the day...not the end. But they did pretty good!

Heading back to Vancouver in the motor home. So much easier to travel this way!!! We do craft projects and rock out to the radio and everyone is happy!

Lauren's sock hop at school!

Lauren's best friend at school is Cali! They dressed up in poodle skirts for their 50th day at school, and then later that night they dressed up as twins for the sock hop!!!

Halloween 2011!

Halloween was fantastic this year. We started off the festivities with a week of racing in Boise at the Halloween Classic. A family tradition and always tons of fun. The kids love it and it really is a great time with friends and family. We had great weather this year too so that made it even more enjoyable!
